How to install the goal post truss

The goal post truss is one of the simplest trusses, consisting of only two bases, two posts, and a truss connector.

Step 1. Add extension legs to the base

Add 4 extension legs of the base first.

Step 2. Mount columns & sleeve blocks

Mount a truss column on the base and put on a sleeve block.

Step 3. Link 2 truss bases with trusses

Assemble 2 such column bases and link them with trusses of appropriate length.

Step 4. Add column hinges

Add 4 hinges on each column to connect the second part of the column.

Step 5. Assemble second column sections and hoists

Assemble and erect the 4 second part columns and install hoist to lift the truss frame.

Step 6. Apply hoists to lift frame for installing the stabilizer

Apply hoists to lift frame at the same progress risingto the height where the stabilizer can be installed.

Step 7. Install 8 stabilizers & raise to final height

Install 8 stabilizers and continue to raise the truss frame to the appropriate height to complete.

The goal post truss is suitable for a variety of activities, such as advertising curtain trusses, race finishes, opening and press conference.
